The cross-border project "Improving the public transport service at the urban poles of Oradea and Debrecen" (TRANSBORDER), whose leader was, in the period 2019-2021, Oradea Transport Local, is qualified in the final of the REGIOSTARS 2024 competition, organized by the European Union, competing thus for the Public Choice Award.

Through the TRANSBORDER project, Oradea Transport Local acquired six Mercedes-Benz Conecto, Euro 6, 12 m buses and a Mercedez-Benz Citaro K Hybrid, an automatic vehicle location and passenger information system (electronic panels for passenger information) and the mobile application for real-time travel planning.
